Position Summary:

The Grace House Assistant Director is the primary operations lead for the Grace House, implementing the Director’s strategy and vision. The Assistant Director aligns and activates personnel and resources to achieve the Grace House vision.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Operational Team Leader (50%):
    • Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the Grace House, including but not limited to:
      • Resident intake process
      • Curriculum development and evaluation
      • Disciplinary actions
      • Development and execution of house schedule
      • Development, implementation and maintenance of data systems and files
      • Development and maintenance of the case management system
    • Coordinate with coaches on the implementation of systems and operations
    • Assist the Director in executing the annual fundraising event
  • Administration (30%):
    • Manage the ministry budget
    • Track and update licensures, insurance and certifications
    • Organize general office tasks that include:
      • House maintenance
      • Scheduling appointments
      • Ordering office supplies
    • Maintain and update safety policies and procedures 
  • Communications (20%):
    • Oversee donor management communications including but not limited to initial contacts, follow-up emails and thank you letters 
    • Maintain social media outlets and draft the monthly newsletter
    • Serve as a liaison for Grace House to Antioch Waco and the Pillar Engagement Team
    • Serve as Pillar Coordinator responsible for recruitment, training and scheduling

Position Requirements:

  • Owner (member) of Antioch Waco or take necessary steps to become an Owner with 60 days
  • Currently attend or actively seeking to join and/or lead an Antioch Lifegroup
  • Confident leader who purposely drives toward results while constantly problem-solving and engaging the commitment of others
  • Ability to connect with people quickly in an outgoing and friendly manner
  • Persuasive communicator who can gain the interest and involvement of others in working towards a common goal and vision

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility over permanent Grace House Staff, but will be primarily responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of all Grace House Interns.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not have any regular travel requirements but may include opportunities for training and professional develop opportunities outside of Waco.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • Work will consistently be performed in a normal office environment
  • Frequent demands requiring ability to maintain close visual attention
  • Frequent demands requiring prolonged mental concentration
