SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Assistant College Pastor and Administrator will work with the College Staff to facilitate a community where college students and college-aged individuals can be transformed through encountering God, being discipled and making disciples, and learning to fully live on mission in our city, nation, and nations of the earth. 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Antioch Waco.
  • Assists other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.
  • Basic personal responsibilities: 
    • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with Jesus through committed time to the Word, worship and prayer.
    • Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
    • Faithfull support the ministries of Antioch Waco by maintaining wise stewardship of measures over the resources entrusted to you.
    • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Antioch Waco (Colossians 3:23-24)
    • Teach the Word of God according to Antioch's doctrinal statement and topical position papers.
ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ministry Support:  
  • Disciple Lifegroup Leaders (LGL) and section leaders through intentional mentoring and guidance  
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students and leaders  
  • Pray daily over the College Ministry, including regular prayer times and incorporating a rhythm of fasting  
  • Model key spiritual disciplines including prayer, evangelism, and spiritual formation practices  
  • Execute and oversee ongoing Lifegroup Leader and Section Leader trainings/meetings throughout the year  
Administrative Operations  
  • Oversee departmental budgets and implement goals through sustainable systems and procedures  
  • Coordinate and document regular meetings, including agenda creation and action item tracking  
  • Manage Planning Center requests, semesterly calendars, and meeting logistics including food coordination  
  • Maintain College Sharepoint organization and volunteer databases (Connect Team, Worship Team, Lifegroup Leaders)  
  • Update and manage semesterly Lifegroup schedules  
Budget Management:  
  • Serve as primary purchasing representative while ensuring compliance  
  • Manage accounting procedures including receipts, reimbursements, and purchases  
  • Oversee subscriptions and vendor contracts/relationships  
  • Collaborate with Associate College Pastor on finances, transportation, and lodging for Awaken and World Mandate  
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities of permanent staff. Leadership of volunteers may be necessary at times, especially in communication with administrative details. 

MINISTERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED IF HIRED:
  • Attendance of the Antioch Discipleship School within two-years of hire 
  • Member of Antioch Waco or willing to become a member as a condition of employment
