SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:
The Facilities Team Lead will support the Campus Operations Director to implement the team's vision daily. The Facilities team is made up of dedicated and hard-working individuals who play a vital role in the ongoing operations of Antioch Waco. They contribute their giftings, skills and abilities in support of providing a functional campus that facilitates effective ministry. Their primary responsibility will be to perform event set-up and tear-down for events. Additional responsibilities include deep cleaning and maintenance of the campus. 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Antioch Waco.
  • Assists other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.
  • Basic personal responsibilities:
    • Understand, engage and personally own the mission, vision and values of Antioch Waco and the overall church goals.
    • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with Jesus through committed time to the Word, worship and prayer.
    • Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
    • Faithfully support the ministries of Antioch Waco by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
    • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Antioch Waco (Colossians 3:23-24).
ROLES SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Repair and Routine Maintenance:  
  • Direct and perform routine maintenance including shampooing of carpets, painting, waxing of floors, changing light bulbs, and other routine maintenance as needed.  
  • Maintain and repair facilities and equipment that allow for continued operations across campus to include painting, drywall, and basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing.  
Manage the Facilities Team:  
  • Manage the team’s schedule and workload. 
  • Help team members to execute and implement assigned work. 
  • Provide spiritual guidance to team members, challenging team members with Biblical principles during regular 1:1s and team meetings. 
  • Build a community of care, concern, and trust; pray with and for your team regularly.  
  • Model Antioch Waco's core values as outlined in the Employee Handbook and lead the team in providing excellent customer service, collaboration and teamwork. 
Event & Set-Up Leadership:  
  • Support the various ministries of Antioch by setting-up and tearing-down for events.  
  • Support week-to-week church and staff operations as needed to include assisting with the physical movement and/or reorganization of staff offices.  
Vehicle Management:  
  • Partner with Antioch Waco Missions to determine vehicle usage schedule, registration/insurance, and maintenance of dedicated missionary vehicles. 
  • Manage the fleet of church-owned vehicles overseeing usage, registration/insurance and maintenance.  
Campus Safety:  
  • Document and inform Campus Operations Director of maintenance and repair needs in support of campus physical safety.  
Special Projects:
  • Support the building of products that display the apostolic vision and concepts of leaders and departments at Antioch Waco.  
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
This position manages two full-time and one part-time permanent staff members.  

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 
  • Able to perform physical labor to include lifting to 50 lbs., using cleaning chemicals and being in constant motion  
  • Thrive in an environment where work requires repeatable, high-quality results performed at a steady pace  
  • Collaborative team player  
  • Polite and professional communication style  
  • Spiritual gifts of helps and/or service, preferred  
  • Carpentry, Drywall, General Handyman Experience, preferred
