Position Summary:

The Grace House Director provides overall leadership for Grace House program and staff. The Director is responsible for providing vision, developing strategy for operations, developing staff, and securing the needed resources to achieve the Grace House vision.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Lead Grace House Team (50%):
    • Communicate and reinforce the Grace House mission and vision to staff, pillars and participants
    • Lead weekly staff meeting and one-on-one meetings with each team member
    • Supervise and develop individual growth strategies for each team member
    • Conduct quarterly evaluation of the program for quality, efficiency, and sustainability
    • Communicate a clear expectation for new Grace House staff, participants and pillars
    • Ensure that Grace House team are applying discipleship principles consistently
    • Develop a prayer strategy for the Grace House ministry
  • Community Engagement (40%):
    • Develop and secure partnerships (financial, In-kind & resources) in the community
    • Develop and implement a sustainable funding strategy for Grace House
    • Identify and develop additional resources for women in the church struggling with addiction
    • Lead out annual fundraising event vision, planning, and experience
    • Serve as the face of Grace House and addiction recovery in the community
  • Discipleship of Women (10%):
    • Lead a weekly group time with program participants to develop relationship and provide encouragement 

Position Requirements:

  • Owner (member) of Antioch Waco or take necessary steps to become an Owner with 60 days
  • Currently attend or actively seeking to join and/or lead an Antioch Lifegroup
  • Visionary leader with proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Innovative and creative problem solver who can dissect complex issues in a rapidly changing environment to achieve ministry objectives
  • Proven ability to build rapport and relationships with individuals and groups with an outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style
  • Effective decision-maker focused on implementing practical and timely solutions
  • Self-assurance, and the confidence to purposely drive toward results while engaging the commitment of others
  • Previous experience leading and coaching others is preferred

Grace House After Hours Coach    1 FTE

Travel Requirements:

This position does not have any regular travel requirements but may include opportunities for training and professional develop opportunities outside of Waco.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • Work will consistently be performed in a normal office environment
  • Frequent demands requiring ability to maintain close visual attention
  • Frequent demands requiring prolonged mental concentration
